Meet the Founders
Enshored has a strong leadership team. We invested heavily in finding and hiring leaders who add value by their actions every day. We look for passion, commitment, professionalism, and level heads. Chiefly, we look for grit – people who will get it done for our clients no matter the headwinds.
Ian is the CEO and Co-Founder of Enshored. Before he co-founded Enshored in 2014, Ian was a successful FinTech executive. From 1994-2005 he helped drive digitization and the move to real-time financial information used by investment professionals. In 2007-12, following his MBA, Ian was part of the leadership team in Fitch Ratings and then Dealogic’s Fixed Income division, working closely with some of the world’s top investment bankers.
Following his move to California in 2012, Ian rediscovered his passion for working in and for disruptive start-ups. At Enshored he leads strategy and sales. He continues to be led by a belief that given the right opportunities, people with energy and drive can achieve much more than they can imagine.
Jeff was co-founder of Enshored and a huge driver of its early success prior to his tragic early death in October 2016. Jeff is survived by his parents and brother, and leaves behind a lasting legacy, having touched the hearts and minds of everyone he met.
Enshored continue to serve his memory and to deliver on his goals for the company.
Client Services Manager
Elissa brings over 25 years of customer engagement and business development experience. By combining qualitative and quantitative analysis with strategic planning, Elissa has contributed to the financial and operational growth of internationally recognized organizations such as the J. Paul Getty Museum, University of California Los Angeles, and Stitch Fix.
Her client-focused approach and creative solutions have led to numerous awards and recognitions in industries such as e-commerce, cultural heritage, e-learning, government, non-profit foundations. She holds a BA in Art Education an MA in Museum Studies, which provides her with a unique lens to understand the diverse needs of clients and the motivations for staff at all levels.
Sang Won Hwang
Chief Operating Officer
Sang is the COO of Enshored. At the age of 10 his family relocated from South Korea to Northern Virginia. Having attained his degrees in Biology, Masters in Economics, and a Ph.D. in Architecture from Virginia Tech, Sang realized that his calling was in creating a compelling learning organization and social mission. During his undergraduate and graduate degree days he worked on multicultural peace programs helping set up NGOs in Kazakhstan. He crafted his skills in teaching as a Director of Environmental Studies Program at Sweet Briar College and as a Visiting Professor at the University of Virginia.
Prior to joining Enshored, Sang gained experience at SNL Financial creating financial information research teams in Ahmedabad, India, Islamabad, Pakistan, and Manila, Philippines, serving Investment Banking clients around the globe and as Chief Operating Officer in the Philippines for 15 years.
At the core, Sang develops a community of learners and leaders who understand the core business function of clients and successfully perform mission-critical operations.
Chief Administrative Officer
Miguel is the Chief Admin Officer of Enshored. He joined Enshored in 2017. Before Enshored, he co-founded a FinTech startup covering Latin American and Asian countries. Miguel's passion for technology began with his undergraduate education in Telecommunications Engineering.
Following his Master of Finance in the UK, Miguel joined an economic and financial consultancy firm in Peru, a Fintech company in the UK and later a Malaysian startup. Having spent the last 15 years in multicultural environments, supporting teams across technology and finance, Miguel is a firm believer in the power of grit and adaptability.
Pauline Mae Antonio
Human Resources Director
Pau is a HR professional with over ten years experience in the field. Prior to joining Enshored, Pau was an HR Business Consultant at a global company, provide HR services in Australia and Asia Pacific Regions. She has delivered HR Services in the BPO industry for 8 years and brings a wide array of expertise in rapidly scaling teams. Paus specialization is in Organizational Development and Labor Relations.
Pau graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Psychology at De La Salle University, Araneta. She was a working student and a part-time professor of the same University. She is passionate about teaching young professionals and believes in learning. She continues to pursue higher studies in Human Resources and iscurrently earning her degree in Law.
Ryan holds a Degree in Education from the University of Santo Tomas. It was there that he developed his passion for learning and engaging with people. With 18 years of experience working locally and abroad in the BPO industry, Ryan cultivated his competency in sales and marketing, customer service, content moderation, and back-office support.
As an Operations Director, Ryan is most accomplished when helping people and businesses unleash their growth opportunities. His aspiration and ability to nurture relationships lead to long-term solutions and success.
Senior Operations Manager
Hera started her career empowering communities as a Project Coordinator for a Non-Government Organization. She has shifted focus from empowering communities to empowering teams in the BPO industry.
She started in the BPO industry as front-line agent and worked her way to a senior leadership role. Now bringing 18 years of experience in Operations Management. With six sigma green belt certification, she drives improvement and optimization of business processes
Her track record includes growing programs from Customer and Technical Support to Back Office and Content Moderation verticals.
She holds a degree from the University of the Philippines, Los Banos.
Mary Rose Yanga
Human Resources Manager
Mary specializes in Labor Relations and Employee Engagement> She leads the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources Department including Employee Relations, Engagement, and Payroll and Benefits. She is the youngest member of the Management Team; and has swiftly risen through the ranks, starting as an HR Associate.
Mary is a Licensed Psychometrician who holds a degree in Psychology from De La Salle University – Araneta. Before joining Enshored, she had worked as a Leave and Benefits Executive in a global company and worked directly with clients from different parts of Asia Pacific.
Carla Bianca Gatbonton
Carla has spent 14 years within the BPO and Technology industries supporting recruitment.
Prior to joining Enshored, she led Recruitment Operations for a multinational company. Handling recruitment for different roles across all levels under operations, technology and other niche profiles.
She is innovative and efficient and has championed recruitment process improvement initiatives
Carla graduated from De La Salle University-Manila taking up AB Behavioral Sciences major in Organizational and Social Systems Development and MS in Human Development Psychology.
Security and Compliance Officer
Before joining Enshored, he worked as a Risk and Compliance Manager, served as a Data Protection Officer, and led programs for data privacy compliance, enterprise risk management, emergency response, and business continuity.
A graduate of Bachelor of Arts majoring in Political Science, Wilfred has worked in the BPO industry across a number of service lines and compliance areas. Supporting ISO standards such as information security, business continuity, and quality management.He also served as a Safety Officer, who led initiatives for health and safety, as well as the office program for COVID-19 response.
Julz started her 16-year BPO career handling Financial Shared Services for US based clients, then shifted to Quality Management where she gained experience in ISO 27001 (Information Security Management) and ISO 9001 (Quality Management System), Business and Change Management, and Six Sigma. She has completed courses for Quality Management System Internal Audit, HIPAA and FSA Cafeteria Plan (Section 125).
She started with Enshored as a Team Captain, trained as Junior Operations Manager, and is now an Operations Manager handling several customer support and backend accounts.
She is a proud fur parent, loves to travel and will read anything she can get her hands on.
Carlo is a detail oriented manager focused on continuous improvement to meet emerging business objectives. He has worked with some of Philippines’ biggest names in the BPO industry prior to joining Enshored in 2016. He has 10 years of experience in different areas of specialization such as customer service, sales, data processing, bookkeeping, video editing, and e-commerce.
He started as a Customer Service Representative, a Proof of Concept Specialist, a Team Captain, and worked his way to becoming an Operations Manager.
Senior Training and Quality Manager
Ellaine was promoted to the Training and Quality division after joining Enshored in 2020 as an Operations Manager.
Her career in the BPO industry spans 15 years experience working with some of the leading companies in the Philippines. She has a solid background in client relations, employee relations, training, quality, financials, project management, people management and development
Ellaine is a graduate of Bachelor of Science Major in Computer Engineering at Polytechnic University of the Philippines.
Enshored was Aubrey’s first ever BPO. She joined in 2017 as an agent and thrived on the volume of learning, reading and innovating required to support start-ups, their customers and the Enshored team. These three areas fuel her interest as an Operations Manager - guiding and developing our heroes and leaders, promoting collaboration among teams, providing innovations for start-ups and seeing their business grow.
Aubrey is a graduate of BS Geography from the University of the Philippines in Diliman. Before Enshored, she focused on mapping and GIS. Working as a GIS specialist. She then spent four years collecting LiDAR data for maps and simulation models to mitigate the effects of flooding.
She then believes that her calling is to help people - which she has been delighted to find is a key driver of the Enshored team.
An alumnus of Don Bosco Technical College, Drew brings with him 15 years of BPO experience. He has a strong track record across multiple verticals from Airline, TeleCo, Web dev and , and Medical Processes.
Drew is a certified Project Manager, having acquired a Six Sigma yellow belt in 2009. After a three-year stint in Qatar, he returned home and helped build the Customer Support center for Philippine Airlines under San Miguel Corp back in 2013. He then went on to lead the operations team of a Medical BPO in 2015, developing their critical processes and setting their culture.
Drew joined Enshored in 2019 and is now handling multiple accounts. His aspiration is to develop all of his people and give them equal opportunity to move up the ranks.
With 13 years experience in the BPO industry, Cindy is a highly motivated leader with a strong record in developing people and processes.
She has led teams in Customer Service (Voice, Email, and Chat Support); Back Office support, and Inbound Sales. Most of her experience is in supporting start-up companies and pioneer programs/accounts.
Yvette has been in the BPO industry for over 13 years with extensive experience handling diverse Lines of Business - ranging from sales, insurance, telco, retail, and social media.
She has been a consistent top performer since she started as a sales agent, and brings that drive and energy into joining the operations team in Enshored. Her experience handling start-up accounts and pioneer programs has led to strong growth. Her passion is in helping others with a solid reputation for building productive customer-centric teams to achieve exceptional customer service standards.
She completed her bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Santo Tomas, she was the Vice President of a non-profit organization that aims to educate and empower children and youth. She also served as a Chapter Head of a youth organization for five years.
CJ has been in the BPO industry for 17 years. He has extensive professional background in Leadership, Sales, and Customer Experience Management.
CJ is driven by his values, which centre on supporting his team to achieve their goals.
He is a proud product of Don Bosco Technical College where he achieved a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering studies.
Elaine brings 16 years of solid leadership experience in the BPO industry from front-line to senior leadership roles. She graduated Cum Laude with a degree in Chemical Engineering from De La Salle University, Manila.
She has extensive experience managing different business lines such as financial, telecommunications, hospitality, internet search engines and social media platforms. Among Elaine’s achievements are accelerating innovation, process improvement management, and creating a work environment focused on attracting, developing and retaining the best people.
Harvee Joy Biton
Harvee holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Education, which she has put to good use in the BPO industry for her current role.
She’s been with the BPO industry since 2009, starting out as a Customer Service Representative and later promoted to Team Captain in Enshored. She excels at working in teams and supporting new starts.
Kat joined Enshored after being a QA supervisor for almost 10 years in one of the biggest BPO in the Philippines.
She started as a QA Analyst on outbound campaigns and was transferred to the flagship account as a products trainer. In Training, Kat found her true calling; she loved teaching our Heroes the skills to excel in the world of video moderation.
She gets her job satisfaction in seeing her previous trainees as they move up to more senior roles like QA and Shift Leads. As a Senior Trainer, she gets a strong sense of purpose from supporting her nine trainers.
