Why did you decide to join Enshored?
Before I came to Enshored I was working for a big company where I felt that I was just a number to them. I decided to join Enshored as I was really attracted to the culture and the fact that as an individual I could contribute to success. Looking back, I am so glad that I made this decision.
What challenges, if any, did you face in making your progression?
I had challenges in confidently dealing with offshore teammates. Managing their QA was challenging as it took quite a lot of confidence to question their decisions.
Another challenge was strictly implementing the rules the client and Enshored put in place to make the program grow. I could do it as I had a good manager who gave me the trust to make my own decisions and guidance as well when I needed it.
How has Enshored empowered you to progress?
Enshored promoted me to the post of a trainer. I never thought that I would love teaching and helping others learn about the policies that would help them excel as content moderators. Enshored trusted me enough to put the new hires into my hands, they trusted me to do a good job in molding the new hires into what Enshored and our account want them to be. It inspired me more to know that my trainees are moving up as well.
What’s next? What are your ambitions? What do you want to achieve?
I am now the Senior Trainer at a dance app platform, I am handling 8 trainers. I am looking at making sure that my trainers do their job right and excel in their tasks. I love it that they get to be a part of molding the minds of our moderators in doing the right thing and by being “the invisible heroes of the internet/social media”.
