Privacy Notice for California Residents

This California Privacy Notice supplements the main Enshored Privacy Notice and applies solely to California residents (“California Consumers”). This section fulfills disclosures required under the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act of 2020 (collectively, the “CCPA”).

Automated Tracking & “Do Not Track” Signals

  • Do Not Track (DNT) Signals: “Do Not Track” is a web browser setting that requests that web applications disable their tracking of an individual user. Because a uniform industry standard for DNT has not yet been established, Enshored does not currently alter its practices in response to browser DNT signals.
  • Third-Party Analytics & Advertising: Third-party analytics and advertising partners may collect information about your online activities over time across our website and other digital services. These third parties may not respond to DNT browser settings.
  • Opt-Out Preference Signals (GPC): While traditional DNT signals are not supported, Enshored does recognize and honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as valid requests to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal data, as detailed below.

Your Rights

As a California Consumer, you hold specific privacy rights regarding your personal information. These rights are subject to statutory limits, legal exceptions, and identity verification procedures.

1. Right to Know and Access

You have the right to request that we disclose the following information covering the 12 months preceding your request:

  • The categories and specific pieces of personal and sensitive personal information we have collected about you.
  • The categories of sources from which the personal information was collected.
  • The business or commercial purposes for collecting, selling, or sharing your personal information.
  • The categories of third parties with whom we share or disclose your personal information.

2. Right to Request Deletion

You have the right to request that we delete personal information we have collected directly from you. Upon receiving and verifying your request, we will delete your information from our records and direct our service providers to do the same, unless a statutory exception applies.

3. Right to Correct Inaccurate Data

You have the right to request that we correct, update, or complete any inaccurate personal information maintained about you.

4. Right to Opt-Out of the “Sale” or “Sharing” of Personal Data

The CCPA broadly defines a “sale” or “sharing” to include making personal information (such as online identifiers or device activity) available to third parties for targeted, cross-context behavioral advertising.

  • How to Opt Out: You can submit an opt-out request through our Your Privacy Choices page.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC): You may also exercise your opt-out rights by broadcasting an Opt-Out Preference Signal, such as GPC, on browsers or browser extensions that support it.
  • Minors: We do not knowingly sell or share the personal information of consumers under 16 years of age.

5. Right to Limit the Use of Sensitive Personal Information

Enshored collects and processes Sensitive Personal Information strictly for permitted operational and business purposes (e.g., account servicing, quality assurance, fraud prevention, IT security, and legal compliance). Because we do not process sensitive personal data for secondary purposes, an explicit “Limit the Use of Sensitive Personal Information” opt-out is not required.

6. Right to Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate or retaliate against you for exercising any of your CCPA privacy rights. We do not deny services, charge different prices, or provide a lower quality of service, nor do we offer financial incentives to opt into data selling.

7. Submitting a Verifiable Consumer Request

Only you, or an Authorized Agent registered with the California Secretary of State whom you authorize to act on your behalf, may submit a verifiable CCPA request.

To submit an access, deletion, correction, or opt-out request, please see the How to Exercise Your Rights section of our Privacy Notice or visit our Your Privacy Choices submission page.
